easy-wire™ has been in existence quite some time now, since 1998. Over the years we've shared many of its capabilities in newsletters; like its ability to draw schematics from learned wire lists, or its custom reports or use of graphical connectors during guided assembly. After awhile we focus on unique features and not so much on the overall capability of the product. As we continue today to add new features and reliability in the product we've redone our overview video of many of the advantages and benefits of this great product. If you already use easy-wire this video may expose some capabilities you were unaware of or may show you some that you'll need to upgrade to get. Along with changes in product lines and software, personnel and company structure are not immune to change. Marlin stepped down from day to day operations of the company and handed off the reigns to another and the company creates an ESOP as the employees aquire some ownership.

After 26 years, I am stepping down from day-to-day management of Cirris, the company I founded in 1984. I will remain Chairman of the Board, and will continue in a "special projects" developer and consultant role, helping with the transition to new leadership. In addition we will begin transitioning the ownership of the company to the employees through an ESOP (Employee Stock Ownership Plan). The new company President is Kevin Denning. Mr. Denning has been with Cirris for over 20 years as the Director of Engineering. The senior management team of Brent Stringham (Dir. Sales/Marketing) Valrie Griffith (Dir. Operations), Scott Meredith (Dir. Engineering) and Erin Petersen (Administrative Mgr.), with collectively over 60 years of experience at Cirris, remains intact.

After considering many options, I felt that my long-term goal of seeing Cirris continue as both a great place to work, and as a world-class supplier of cable and harness test equipment, would best succeed by selling the company to the employees, rather than outsiders. Cirris has always been about innovations, both in products and as a great place to work. I look forward to seeing Cirris continue the success we've experienced over the past 26+ years. I truly feel the company is in great hands moving forward, with the experienced leadership group intact and I especially look forward to seeing the growth and leadership of the new, young talent we've seen join the company the past few years.
